Bio
Before working as a full time artist, I was an educator but God had other plans for me. He guided me back to my heartfelt passion.
Art has always been a place of joy for me. I grew up with artistic and creative influences on both sides of my family and from an early age I have shown a flair for art and design.
After graduating high school I had received an art scholarship for my associates degree and later change my plan to became a nurse for ten years then transitioned to teaching for another ten years. I am certified elementary school teacher and certified to teach art from early childhood to twelfth grade. My heart kept yearning all the while to follow my dreams to create art and share the love of painting with others.
Fast forward, after having been living for a year in Utah with my Husband uand daughter we have now moved to the East Texas area where we grew up. While living in Utah, we frequently visited the mountainous parks of Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. I was so inspired by the beauty of our travels, I couldn’t help but want to create. So with an artist’s heart, I am now creating, teaching and celebrating art full time.
